Join artist Mary Walker—whose show Scenes from Alice in Wonderland will be hanging in our gallery— for a monoprint workshop on Saturday, November 9, from 9:30 to 5:00.

Mary will demonstrate her methods and lead participants through a process that incorporates plexiglass plates, watercolor underpaintings, oil-based inks, and cut and hand-torn paper stencils. Students will create images to print using the Arts Center’s press.   Cost is $100 for members, $130 for nonmembers. Both adults and teenagers are welcome. Most materials will be supplied, though students are encouraged to bring their own watercolors and brushes.
